216.5l metal barrel made of raw sheet metal

The steel barrel available in our offer is made of raw cold-rolled sheet metal. The steel barrel is available in 6 different thicknesses:

• lid - 0.8 mm, side - 0.8 mm, bottom - 0.8 mm;
• lid - 1.0 mm, side - 0.8 mm, bottom - 1.0 mm;
• lid - 1.0 mm, side - 0.9 mm, bottom - 1.0 mm;
• lid - 1.0 mm, side - 1.0 mm, bottom - 1.0 mm;
• 6 lid - 1.2 mm, side - 1.2 mm, bottom - 1.2 mm.

The metal barrel has a structure that includes a linearly welded side with embossed rims. At the customer's request, additional reinforcements (grooves) can also be used. In the design the lid and bottom are connected to the side on a triple overlap with a seal. The user therefore has the assurance that the steel barrel will allow for safe storage and transport of selected substances. It is characterized by resistance and tightness.

Metal barrel approved for contact with food products

The external side of the body is painted with water-dilutable paints in accordance with the RAL color catalog (standard RAL 5010 - dark blue). As standard the interior can be raw or painted with chemical-resistant paints. Thanks to them, there is no chemical reaction between the stored substances and the container. The liquid is also protected from contamination. Importantly, such a solution means that the metal barrel is approved for contact with food products.

The 216.5l metal barrel is equipped with a non-removable lid with mounted threaded corks with seals with a diameter of 2” and ¾”. Together with the bottom, they are permanently connected to the side on a triple overlap with a seal. Users also appreciate the design of the lid and the location of the closures, thanks to which it is almost completely possible to empty the container. This helps to keep the barrel clean.
