A versatile metal barrel

Steel Barrel OH 210L with removable lid is an effective way to store and transport liquid and semi-liquid substances. It finds its application in many industries. It can be used as a metal barrel for fuel in mechanical workshops and industrial plants - on production floors or in warehouses. It will also work in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry. Due to the use of chemically resistant paints approved for food contact, the 210l steel barrel in the option with internal painting can also be used in the food industry. In gastronomy, it is used, among others, for storing oils or food products. 

The metal barrel for fuel is available in a capacity of 210 liters. The product has received UN certificates. It also meets the rigorous requirements of international regulations ADR, RID, IMDG-Code, IATA-DGR.

210l steel barrel with a strong construction

The presented 210l metal barrel with a lid is made of raw cold-rolled sheet metal. The user can decide on its thickness - available variants are:

• lid - 0.8 mm, side - 0.7 mm, bottom - 0.8 mm;
• lid - 1.0 mm, side - 0.9 mm, bottom - 1.0 mm;
• lid - 1.0 mm, side - 1.0 mm, bottom - 1.0 mm.

The construction features a side wall with embossed rims welded linearly. In its upper part, an ISO OH type narrowing was used. The 210l steel barrel can be additionally reinforced with reinforcing grooves. The model is equipped with a bottom connected to the side wall on a triple overlap with a seal. Such a solution makes the steel barrel provide effective protection of stored substances.

The outside is painted with water-dilutable paints in colors according to RAL (standard - RAL 5010, dark blue). The interior is standard raw, but the 210l metal barrel can also have an interior protected with chemically resistant paint. Thanks to this, it has been approved for contact with food products (this is confirmed by the PZH certificate granted to the paints). The applied solution also made the 210l steel barrel have anti-corrosive properties, and the materials collected in it do not react chemically with steel. They are also protected against contamination.

A distinguishing feature of the product is a removable lid closed with a clamping ring with a buckle. It has effective seals, which protect against unwanted leakage of collected substances. Users can also decide on the installation of an additional plug with a diameter of 2” or ¾”. The 210l metal barrel with a lid therefore provides effective protection and ease of use.
