Steel Barrel OH 212 L with removable lid is a proven way to safely store and transport liquid substances. It works well in contact with hazardous, chemical or corrosive materials. It also allows for internal painting with food contact approved paints. The metal barrel can therefore be used both in mechanical workshops or vehicle inspection stations, as well as in pharmaceutical or food companies. It is a proven solution for storing lubricants, but also oil or water. It is often chosen as a metal barrel for rainwater or a metal barrel for fuel.

The metal barrel with a capacity of 212 liters is externally painted with water-dilutable paints in a color available only in the RAL standard - dark blue (RAL 5010). There is a possibility of internal application of chemically resistant varnishes with a PZH certificate. The 212l metal barrel with a lid has received UN certificates - 1A2/Y301/A, 1A2/Y320/S, 1A2/X320/S, 1A2/X315/S, 1A2/Y/100, 1A2/X320/S, 1A2/Y1,5/150, 1A2/X360/S issued for each package by BAM. It also meets the requirements of international regulations ADR, RID, IMDG-Code, IATA-DGR. It also allows for personalization by applying logos or inscriptions.

Steel barrel with the possibility of internal painting

The presented metal barrel for fuel and other substances is made as standard from steel sheet (cold-rolled, unoiled) with a thickness of 0.7 mm (side), 0.8 (bottom) and 0.8 mm (lid). There is also the possibility of ordering solutions of a different thickness. The product has a tendency to natural corrosion in case of non-use and in contact with certain substances. The metal barrel is externally covered with water-dilutable paints.

The 212l metal barrel with a lid can have the internal surface left raw or painted with chemically resistant paint. It is made on the basis of epoxy-phenolic and phenolic resins and has been approved for direct contact with food products (it has a Health Quality Certificate). Thanks to it, you also gain:

• increased corrosion resistance,
• protection against substances entering into chemical reaction with the barrel,
• protection against contamination,
• improvement of the cleanliness of the barrel interior, which is of great importance in the pharmaceutical industry.

Durable metal barrel 212l with lid

The metal barrel available in our offer has a specially reinforced structure. It has a linearly welded side with embossed rims, and at the customer's request, we can make additional reinforcement of the side with reinforcing grooves. There is also the possibility of making barrels without embossed rims. The steel barrel has a bottom connected to the side on a triple overlap with a seal.

The metal barrel has a removable lid closed with a clamping ring with a buckle. Importantly, the applied lid has appropriate seals. At the customer's request, the steel barrel can be equipped with a plug with a diameter of 2” and ¾”.
